Acquisition of the company of Information Technology Azertia

GBS Finance acted as financial advisor of Indra Sistemas SA, the listed Spanish information technology company, in the Acquisition of the company of Information Technology Azertia, the Spain based IT services company, from Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA (BBVA), the listed Spanish bank, and Iberdrola SA, the listed Spanish electricity and natural gas company, for a cash consideration of EUR 95.4m and assumption of EUR 23.4m in debt. The acquisition will strengthen Indra’s position in the information technology sector in the domestic market as well as in Latin America. The acquisition provides financial synergies and growth potentials to Indra.
